Dimitris Tsapogas is a Director of Governance, Risk and Internal Audit Services at Mazars with 15 years of experience in Finance, Auditing and Business Consulting. He has a degree in Accounting and Finance from Athens University of Economics and Business. He holds the COSO Internal Control Certificate (IIA) and he is a Certified Internal Controls Auditor (CICA) and a Certified Controls Specialist (CCS) (IIC).   

He has provided Audit and Advisory services to a number of clients in various industry sectors including banking and other financial services, FMCG and packaging. He was involved in assignments in Europe as well as countries such as Kenya, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia with involvement in all aspects of delivering Governance, Risk & Internal Audit services. 

His experience in HR comprises of HR audits and assessments of HR systems as well as consulting projects such as the development of HR policies and procedures, performance management systems etc. As a Leader in Consulting projects in HR, he interacted and advised HR C-level executives for their strategy and during his career has been involved in many recruitment processes.
